CITY OF NAGOYA

The “Yakai” event, named after the Japanese term for “night gathering,” was recently held in the City of Nagoya in an effort to revitalize the local culture. Combining tradition with technology, the event featured a 50-meter wide animated projection that showcased the past, present, and future of Nagoya through its landmarks and symbols. The projection, which included Nagoya’s traditional dyeing pattern and other unique elements, highlighted the city’s charm and traditions. The event took place at Nagoya Castle, from December 14, 2019 to January 13, 2020.
