The Illustration System is a creative initiative with the goal of crafting a unified visual language tailored for a educational app. It serves to enrich the overall user experience and facilitate the effective conveyance of intricate educational concepts.
This project seeks to establish a versatile set of illustrations that seamlessly harmonize with the educational app’s content, promoting consistency across the Learning App. These illustrations are designed to simplify abstract concepts, engage users, and accommodate a broad spectrum of subjects and topics. By fostering engagement among learners, they facilitate knowledge acquisition, all while presenting an adaptable art direction that suits various content types.

Visual Style
To maintain consistency with the Apple brand and ensure scalability and inclusivity, we’ve created a diverse collection of assets, including people from different views, heads, gestures, objects, and devices.
Our design approach deliberately excludes facial elements or expressions to make these assets adaptable to various scenarios. Our primary goal is to achieve a universally comprehensible style characterized by flat design, with the option to include or exclude outlines. All illustrations are optimized to seamlessly integrate with SF symbols.
In terms of color, we employ a consistent hue to fill various parts of the illustration maintaining a unified visual language. The outlines are set at a standard 2-pixel width to ensure visual clarity and consistency.
